Should I tell you what I am or what I want to be? Well the dreamer in me succumbs to the realist. An electrical engineer by education, a software engineer by circumstance, a hardware engineer by choice, Roots-ever beckoning- firmly in Madras, Borrowing a line from an Ozzy Osbourne song... "I am just a dreamer..I dream my life away....."

This one came across as slightly "blander" than the rest to me...more a function of the topic than the writing itself though :)
I do think you harp on the "Please dont judge me for this" too much though :)
To be frank I am beginning to feel an increase in the bland quotient in what I am writing. I now understand how difficult this can be to do for a living.
As to the "don't judge me" aspect, I prefer coming across like this as opposed to a arrogant know-it-all. I think I like my writing to be seen more as a "throwing out ideas" thing than a "exhibition of opinions" thing.
